Christian Bale Felt Like ‘Bizarre Halloween’ Inside The Batsuit

Christian became a ‘monster’ to overcome the silliness of the Batsuit. Read on for details!

With The Dark Knight Rises being his third time playing Batman, you’d think that Christian Bale would be pretty used to having to suit up in the iconic, but inherently silly, costume. But, according to a new interview, he still needed to find ways to get past the silliness.

Christian tells Jeanne Wolf’s Hollywood, “I just know it’s silly old me inside of it, but what you have to do in order to stop feeling that way, in order to stop feeling like someone just walking around in a bizarre Halloween costume, is you have to really think about it, you know? You look and say ‘What would drive somebody to dress in this fashion?’ There’s issues. Because he’s serious, he’s not making a joke here. And so you must become a monster, you know, so you feel like an animal when you’re inside of that suit.”

In the interview, which Jeanne gave HollywoodLife.com exclusive video of, the 38-year-old actor also previews a bit of Batman’s relationship with Catwoman in the new film, released July 20. “What it does is she rejuvenates Bruce Wayne,” he says. “When we begin the movie, you see that Bruce Wayne is just a shell of the man that he used to be, that Batman has disappeared. And Anne [Hathaway's] character, Selina Kyle, arrives and just starts giving him that spark of life again. She makes him laugh. She’s stealing from him, but he finds it hilarious. He just loves how brazen she is.”

Camden Yards Batman was nearly "Ellen man"

It was either Batman undies or Ellen Degeneres-themed briefs, said Mark Harvey, the truck driver who ran out onto the field during the Orioles’ opening home game.

The 26-year-old Severn man originally planned to wear “ellen” undershorts for the diamond dash, Harvey said Thursday afternoon.

He loves her, he said.

And she dances, he added. Just like he planned to do for the fans in the stands.

The comedian’s “ellen” branded underwear is available at the online “ellenshop.”

But in the end, the leftover Halloween-costume cape tipped the scale in favor of an outfit that included the recognizable yellow bat logo across his crotch.

Here’s how he phrased this thought process:

“I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. First, I was going to do Ellen Degeneres underwear ’cause I love her and she’s always dancin’ and she’s got underwear.

“I was like, ‘That would be perfect.’

“But I couldn’t find those and I was like, ‘The second best thing is something to make the crowd laugh and that.’

“And I had Batman underwear and the cape left over from Halloween this year so I decided, ‘Hey, that seems like a good idea.’”

Then he ran around the field briefly, got tackled hard and spent 13 hours in jail.

Heidi Klum has formally filed for divorce from singer Seal, almost three months after they separated, the supermodel’s publicist said.

Her filing in Los Angeles on Friday marks an end to a romance that captivated the nation with its numerous displays of affection, including a vow renewal ceremony every year and a Halloween costume party that featured Hollywood stars.

The two separated in January after seven years of marriage.

“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate,” they said in a joint statement at the time.

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

Seal and Klum, who have four children, said their separation was amicable.

“Protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition,” they said. “And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

The “Project Runway” star has said she first met Seal when she was sitting in the lobby of a New York City hotel.

Seal is best known for his hits “Crazy” and “Kiss from a Rose,” which appeared on the “Batman Forever” soundtrack.

(CNN) — Heidi Klum has formally filed for divorce from singer Seal, almost three months after they separated, the supermodel’s publicist said.

Her filing in Los Angeles on Friday marks an end to a romance that captivated the nation with its numerous displays of affection, including a vow renewal ceremony every year and a Halloween costume party that featured Hollywood stars.

The CW’s Arrow: Get Your First Look at The Green Arrow’s New Costume (PHOTO)

The Green Arrow doesn’t have the same pop-cred as Batman, and I think it may have something to do with his outfit as created by The CW’s Smallville. I know that Justin Hartley has awesome surfer-bro blonde tips, but The Green Arrow needs his Peter Pan hat and rugged gear to look more like he was envisioned in the comics and less like an ad for Oakley sunglasses.

Since Smallville ended its decade-long run last year, The CW is searching for another superhero to fill the resulting super-void, and has settled on The Green Arrow. Arrow, a pilot in the works at The CW, stars Stephen Amell (not Hartley) as the crime-fighting billionaire, and with the show comes a nifty new suit that’s a big improvement over the sexy Halloween costume Hartley wore on Smallville.

It’s always a good idea for a superhero’s costume to inspire fear rather than the question, “Hey where did you buy that outfit? My nephew would look so cute in it!” What do you think of the new duds versus the old duds?

Costume party at City School

The students of City School’s junior branch in Sector F-11 were part of a fun-filled day when all children at the campus were dressed up in different costume characters to celebrate the annual costume party.

Sharing details of the activity, Anila Paracha, the headmistress of the branch told ‘The News’ that each and every class was decorated differently by the students, who were asked to dress up according to the decoration mood of the class. “The themes included various Disney characters including some from Hollywood. All students, especially boys, were extremely thrilled to see Spiderman and Batman themes,” she said.

“It was amazing to see children spend the whole day in joy and laughter. This is how where you change going to school every morning from something the kids have to do to something the kids love to do,” she remarked.

Students were dressed up in different costumes depicting Snow White, Dora The Explorer, Ferries from Wonderland and different animal characters. Parents visited the activity and appreciated the efforts of the school management for coming up with innovative activities that keep kids involved in school life.

SUPERMODEL Heidi Klum went all out for her Halloween party in Las Vegas on the weekend.

Dressed as a “dead body with the first layer of skin ripped off,” Klum made a dramatic red carpet entrance being wheeled out on an autopsy table.

Before long she was up and posing for the cameras in her gory costume.

Klum tweeted pictures of herself showing the various stages of her transformation in the make-up chair.

Meanwhile in New York, Kim Kardashian attended the Midori Green Halloween costume party dressed as Batman villain Poison Ivy while Tina Fey hit the streets in a gruesome blood-soaked coat.

Britney Spears goes Batman for Birthday

Britney Spears is all into parenting these days, and she recently threw a costume party to celebrate her younger son Jayden James’s turning five. “We’ve just had a huge birthday party for him yesterday! It was Spiderman and Batman [themed], he’s obsessed, so obsessed!! We have four Spiderman costumes, so all the kids at the party had on costumes!” reports ShowbizSpy.

Does this mean Britney Spears herself dressed up as Catwoman or the bat-dude himself? “Oh, I didn’t dress up at all!” the singer, 29, admits, claiming to be embarrassed. This from the top entertainer who has poured herself into revealing costumes before thousands of people and even shaved her head. But Brit threw herself into the occasion with gusto, as a with-it mom should. Perhaps her priorities are different these days.

The Femme Fatale singer further admits she is feeling a bit older now, as she gets close to 30. She’s more into home and routine stuff and even hanging around her computer. And parenthood is more important to her. She has even offered parenting advice to the pregnant Beyoncé. Is this a new Britney Spears or just the old one holding a Batman cake? Stay tuned.
